Nestled in a quiet residential part of West Hollywood, this 113-suite boutique hotel faced strict exterior signage allowances that inspired creativity in developing the main ID. We gave the hotel logo a graphic backdrop to call attention to it, taking an interior design pattern and extending it to the hotel façade. The interior signage shapes, colors and finished also referenced interior design elements.A second phase of exterior signage, outside of what the city usually permits, allowed us to quietly direct vehicular traffic to the hotel parking garage south of the main entrance.
